INFORMATION NEEDED!!!
I'm an Art Ed. graduate assistant at Miami University. I recieved
my BFA in graphic design and am presently teaching a sprint
photography class. (5 - 2 hour lessons plus lab to teach it all)

DIGITAL CAMERA:
I'm looking for information on the digital camera and it's
uses from the perspective of the Art Educator. Spacific usage
tips would be extremly interesting to report to a classroom
of future art educators. If you have used a digital camera in
your classroom please respond. The question was raised as to
how the increased use of this device might effect the
darkroom photography program. Will the direct linking capability
to a computer diminish use of wet process photography?

SOFTWARE EVALUATION:
I'm also working on a research proposal for Art Ed. software
evaluation. What would be the most effective way to evaluate it
from an independent stand point? Wouldn't it be great if there
was someone who has seen and tried it all and could say that if
this is what you want to do with a program this is the very
best one currently available. I'm working with the idea of
developing a survey that would ask art educators like yourselves
what they know works well and for what grade level it would
work for. It just seems so rediculous to invest large amounts of
public school funds into something you've never seen.
Any and all suggestions would be appriceated. (Questions that
should be included, programs that should be included, what
grade level. (Would a better survey be to study what art educators
feel should be included in art education software?)

Thank you in advance for your responces. The end of the semester
is coming fast and I most likely won't have time to respond and
thank you each for your time and consideration.
