Sid, in our school district, we have tried both and are now working toward a
combination. Each classroom is to have at least five computers and there are
to be several labs for when it is necessary to have an entire class working at
the same time. In our school we have a lab for each grade level. But if you
can only have one. It seems to be preferable to have computers in the
individual classrooms. It is fine for the Art studio. I have five and I have
no problem not only rotating students but also accomocating those who want to
work extensively on them. I am of course looking forward to adding cpu's. I
would like to have ten.
