Here is a good tip for yarn storage.
Get Pringles cans. Cut a slit in the top. Place a skein of yarn down
into the can. Pull the yarn from THE MIDDLE of the skein thru the hole
in the top. Tell the students to make sure they leave some of the yarn
out of the top when they cut it so it will not fall into the can. Also
tell the students, that ONLY YOU can remove the lid and fix the yarn.
This has always worked wonders for me.
