I'm an art minor teaching K-12 art at a SMALL school, and really love it
(except for my crazy schedule, which includes K-6 P.E., and leaves NO
time for displays, etc. - although I do them on MY own time anyway,
because I feel they're important!). Anyway, I don't always know if I'm
encompassing all I should be teaching these kids, and wonder if a
textbook might give better continuum <--(spelling?) to my elem. program.
What textbooks do you use, if you do, and how often? I've noticed some
by Davis Publications for elem. grades that interest me.
Actually this is probably all for nothing - it would probably take
forever to order enough of these, unless I ordered no other supplies.
But I'm curious anyway - maybe if I ordered one teacher's text for each
grade, it would help ME - what do you think?
Before any of you suggest curriculum sources, let me explain that I need
"how-to's" in many cases, as well as "what to do's".
Thanks everyone!
