Re: graphics programs.

I have used Corel's
Adobe's
and just about every other graphics program out there. I have not
taught yet, keep this in mind, I've spent the last 12 years as an artist
and a student ;D, yes it's the Grad Granny again...

But...

I've taught a lot of children to use their computers... and I've taugh
a lot of them to do graphics on the computer....

the younger ... the easier has been my discovery...

from easy to hard for them on my list...

Paint (the Window's included versions)
Paint Shop Pro ( http://www.jasc.com has downloadable shareware free
trial versions for testing - you can use the trial for 30 days- and
although it is now trying to rival Adobe - it is still a tad simpler and
now has an "animation shop" included two programs for the testing! )
(for mac only users there is another but I need to get name (I taught my
own daughter's on this one and will get back to you-they have Macs I'm
hopelessly devoted to the PC world and Windows)
Kai's (as mentioned previously)
Dabbler (as mentioned previously)
Adobe's products
Corel's products
