Hi Tami R. and everyone,
I 've got to agree about the Venezia books about artists. They are great!
The kids love them. I use the one about Jackson Pollock for a lesson on
action painting with my 7th graders. They learn about Pollock and get an
understading into why he did the splatter pictures.
I'd recommend any of his books for 1 through 8. I had the chance to meet Mike
a couple years ago in Chicago. He's a great guy who's working on more artist
books. He is open to suggestions, so please write him if you have any ideas.
