As some of you know, a Curriculum Issues Seminar began a few weeks ago on
ArtsEdNet Talk. We've been using "Our Place in the World: An
Inquiry-Based, Thematic Curriculum Resource" as the jumping off point for
our discussions. "Our Place in the World" is posted on ArtsEdNet, the Getty
Education Insitute's website (http://www.ArtsEdNet.getty.edu).
After a two-week recess, the online discussions will begin again on
Tuesday, April 1. The issue we'll be taking up is: "What is inquiry
learning?" To check out the seminar activities, open "Our Place in the
World" from the red ArtsEdNet home page and click on the online seminar
marked "new." If you want to contribute to the discussion please type
CURRICULUM ISSUES on the subject line of your message to ArtsEdNet Talk.
That way, people interested in the seminar can easily identify your
contribution as part of the discussion.
I'm looking forward to an interesting discussion of a challenging issue and
invite you to join in.
