Over the last couple of years we have been exploring this process and
have found the project to be very wothwhile as it highlights cultural
differences and similarities and uses art as a form of communication.
So far we have corresponded with American High school
students(thankyou Numo), Aboriginal students from the North of
Australia, Cook Island students, Indian participants and other
art/teacher colleges within Australia.
If you are interested to participate please contact me as soon as
possible with fax and postal addresses. We are keen to find other
trainee teacher students or senior high school groups, however
working across age levels has been very interesting in the past and
could be considered.
You will need to let me know how long it will take for your
students to respond to our artworks eg.three weeks is a reasonable
amount of time otherwise the project tends to drag.
We are keen to extend the project by use of the net but this will
occur at a later stage.
I look forward to your response and ask that you only commit to the
idea if you are able to respond back to our artworks.
