"Bramante...posed for the figure of Pythagoras, seen holding the
book in the foreground to the lower left. Michelangelo is also
present, just to the right, as Herakleitos writing on the steps."

I do not think that Raphael is the figure in the white garment on the
left. Look to the far right. It appears that he is the person
second from the far right (by comparison to a known self portrait .)
