My students use neither a bucket or the sinks. I have torn off about a 12" piece of papertoweling for each child, wadded it up and as I'm wadding, I quickly pass it under the running faucet. To save time I will take a whole roll of papertoweling and slice the silde with a box knife. A pile of "towels" fall away ready to run through the faucet. The wadded towels are in a bucket by the artroom door near a trash can and the students can clean their hands as they line up. My sinks are off limits except for my art helpers who help me clean up after each class.
