I also teach 6-8, in multi-age classes. I have
found that with the 7th & 8th grade it doesn't
matter much, but the sixth graders are a different
story. They often require much more help and
attention than the older students. I have always
had multiage classes, so I just deal with it... Have
more advanced students help/ work in pairs w/
younger students...etc. It would be nice to have a
separate 6th grade class though...
