Have been asked to do a mural at out local zoo with my high school
students. Subject is the Arroyo Toad and its habitat. The building is to
be a Toad House.Size 10'x30'. Directly on the stucco wall.Help, all
suggestions as to approach, housekeeping, organization, materials, creative
approaches, etc. would be greatly appreciated. This is a first for me and
it is a biggie. I have a feeling I am going in deeper that I can imagine.
Sink or swim, it is a great opportunity for the kids. Wish the subject was
broader, but it's not my wall and they have a particular agenda. Just like
a commercial art project. Taking 30 students, half or more will draw while
the other paint and they reverse the groups in a day or so. I think we can
do the job in three or four weeks.
Please send encouragement or maybe flowers, but at least an idea or two.
