Dear Nancy,
I recently did some research on U.S. Copyright law as it pertains to
electronic media. From what I understand, it is permissible to reproduce
images in the pursuit of scholarship, news reporting, commentary and
criticism. However,there are exceptions and you may want to check with a
source that has some professional experience. Check out the keywords
"Copyright and Art" on your Web browser. The U.S. Copyright Office is there
along with lots of other legal info about copyright. Better to be safe than
