I don't get a number, but ask for what I need and usually get it. It is expected
that I keep the number as low as possible - I have 200 gr. 6-8 students and
spent about 400.00 this year.

About 10 years ago, I got 1,000.00 a year-
20 years ago, I got 2,000 a year and charged kids 3.00 a semester. No lab fees
allowed now at all.

I'd love some information from you all. Our district is in impasse now because
we haven't had a new contract in over three years, and we can't seem to work
with the district. One of the things that bothers me is the large amount
allotted for supplies, money which never hits the art department. We do not get
one thin dime for our classes. So I'm going to speak to the board next week,
and I would love to know what other districts are getting for their classes,
especially California districts.

Can you help?
