I love Prezi! My technology group calls it "Powerpoint on Steroids"! I have
banned powerpoints in my classroom since there are so many cooler tools
available, & it is amazing how many of my high school students immediately
took to Prezi. Another cool tool is Glogster - an interactive "poster". Sign
up for the education version (http://edu.glogster.com) for classroom use -
the regular version is pretty dark & depressing.

I love prezi.com - they now have free educator upgrades where
presentations will be private and you can create separate accounts for
students. The how to videos have been stripped down to starting with
the basics - no fancy stuff. Easy to learn to navigate in a few
minutes.
Really challenges the brain - brings a new dimension to organization of
thought.

You can see a TED presentation with prezi (great one on metaphor)
