Re: [teacherartexchange] Field trips

I used to take an elite bunch of students to Santa Fe each year for a three-night stay. I and a male chaperone would take turns driving a van. Man, those were the days...The trip was courtesy of a federal grant for Indian education (thank you, taxpayers). It was always a lot of fun though exhausting. Try to get back so you have at least one weekend day to recuperate.

I keep thinking about organizing a one or two-night trip (not this year of course)to okc or Tulsa for a group of kids & some parents to see some museums & artist working spaces. I am weary of my field trip having to be back in time for the bus - I only have 5 hours "on the ground" so to speak.
