When I was in college we were challenged to pick an architect, study their
styles, and then to create something that that architect wouldn't have made.
For instance, a Gaudi toaster, a Frank Lloyed Wright car. Whatever the final
product, we had to point out 3 key elements that we felt represented the
artist's style and how we had used those elements in our own work. It was a
thought provoking assignment, but very inspiring as well.
