[teacherartexchange] POSITIVE POST!!!

Since many of my posts have been about my trials and tribulations, I am
happy to make a positive post:

This morning two of my students (brother and sister), a 3rd grader and
a 6th grader, interrupted my morning by pounding on my door. I was a
little agitated because I had a ton to do before my first class. Little
did I know about their sweet intentions. I opened the door, and little
James held out his hand, his sister beaming beside him. Inside his hand
were four eraser tops. They explained that they were getting other
students to buy me erasers from the school store because all of mine
had been stolen. Whitney, a 6th grade student from my first term, had
been the first to donate, and these were from her. They told me that
they planned on getting more, and I told them not to spend their own
money on my art class. James said, "Don't worry, I have enough money."
