Subject: [teacherartexchange] Need YMCA art lesson ideas

Hello fellow art teachers, I received this note yesterday and answered
back, but maybe you can offer more suggestions. I gave him the
Incredible Art Department address and told him about the artlists
available. His e-mail is below.

Thanks,

Hello,I was browsing online trying to find easy ways of teaching 9-12yr
olds the art of drawing and painting, when I came upon your web page.My
local YMCA has gotten me to teach classes for a couple of months.I'm
scared to death!!I have been painting and drawing since I was 8yrs
old,and although I feel I have been blessed with this talent and pretty
successful at it,having to teach kids is a whole different ballgame.I'm
writing to ask if you could point me in the right direction of a website
that can give me a crash course in how to start this endeavor? Or step
by step cheat sheet cards that will make this less painful?we start
April 11,and any help you could provide me would me appreciated!!Thank
you for your time.
