framing question

Hoping for suggestions here.
Preparing for our annual student artshow. I have a student painting on a wood
panel. Edges are finished. It's also not a standard size, and I'm not sure
how to present it. Don't want to spend on custom framing. Should I mount it to
foam core? Any suggestions?
