Well we don't have too bad a problem with lice thanks to those after vacation
head checks <smile> However, I often do a bug theme unit with first graders
to go with their science unit (symmetry, balance, size relationship, pattern,
environments, etc). I have done clay lessons, collage, and drawing. They
love bugs! There is a fabulous book called Bug Faces by a photographer who
specializes in photographing insects. It is really great and the kids LOVE it!
