already say ARGHHHH!??? This is my first year at this
school, and I am pretty sure it is my last!!

Don't give up so soon!
You have to formulate your philosophy of teaching and present a
pedigogal outline of progressive
  learning that will debunk their thoery. Explain why "this is not
math", and the brain function that is stimulated by art. You have to be
an advocate because the "elders" were NOT TAUGHT how to appreciate or
understand what we are doing today!.
