Yesterday, I had 12 students finished with an Op Art 3D cube lesson and 11
still diligently working on their designs. "Whatchya' gonna do?!!" I decided
that a followup lesson on linear perspective drawing would be good. I did a
search on IAD for perspective drawing, and came up with a link to Harold
Olejarz interactive one point perspective lesson. THANK YOU HAROLD, IT IS
TERRIFIC! I moved half of the students, equipped with rulers and paper, closer to
the TV. The other group continued with their Op Art assignment. I managed
to supervise the Op Arters and also click the mouse through Harold's
interactive perspective lesson. The kids learned to draw an interior room with
windows, doors, rugs, and furniture and all I needed to do was click the mouse, and
rescue the slow ones!!
Harold is creating a perspective drawing CD that is going to be
available soon. I'm going to put my name first on the list.
Thank you Harold and thank you IAD.
