Digital Projects for 8th grade - from Mark Anderson

Greetings Art Educators,

Mark Anderson has some very good digital project ideas
on his site.

Go to Exhibit 14 to see David Hockney and Exhibit 15
to see "food faces" - Arcimboldo faces. Mark was
inspired by the project done by Larry Prescott. Mark's
student did this as a time filler. Mark had prepared a
CD of 100 or so images of food and just let the kids
have a go at it. These were complete in one class
period.

Mark says...because they'd already learned
about and practiced Photoshop layers and assemblages
in the Hockney unit, these guys just flew through the
"food faces."

View the other exhibits for more creative ideas. Many
have marveled over his moveable murals project
-exhibit six. Life size collage/mixed media figures.

Mark teaches at Raymore-Peculiar Middle School in
Peculiar, Missouri.
