Re: Sign Language and Art Colors

Date: Wed Mar 31 2004 - 11:29:23 PST

Something else I would recommend is using the signs for dark and light, because not all colors translate into sign. Something that many people don't know is that sign language is not based on English. So, like other foreign languages, not everything translates directly. There are many children's books and basic sign dictionaries that can help. Also, if you have sign interpreters on campus, I would talk to them and pick their brains for ideas.
