Wow! How fantastic, make the art controversy real to them!!! I am doing my
grad work in curriculum and instruction and that fits with one of the strategies
they just presented. Some of the more fun strategies included the Metaphor
strategy, where you would ask your students to say how a marble is like a.....
or even indirect analogy where the students would become the marble and express
their views about being stolen from that point of view....I say brava to you
for keeping excitement in your classroom!
