In speaking with T. Robert at Axner Pottery, I had asked her if paper clay
can mend an all clay object. She said the problem might be the different drying
times and lack of consistent shrinkage. If the form is all paperclay it would
work.

Right now, I have a piece in the kiln mended with glaze only. It will be
fired tomorrow. I'll let you know if it works.
