I have just put up the last project that I was needing to finish. It is a
figure study from using kids in class. We created gestures, blocking in the
parts of the body and then contour studies for one hour. Using many of the
drawing or using others from their own drawings they created a composition using
tracing paper to see the overlapping and movement between the figures. Next we
saw the Beatles Yellow Submarine and I had them take doodle notes. They
incorporated the art of this film, words and their own imagination to create a
colorful piece of work. They used watercolor pencils and regular colored pencils.
I have about 8 here and many more are coming but it has taken quite a while
and I wanted to get up a few of the first ones that were finished.
