Table mounted mitre saws are great to have, as is a drill press. I
picked up a drill press from Ace Hardware for 100 bucks. It works great
for drilling trough tubing,, wood, metal, etc. Nice straight cuts! Of
course, I have to be there...kids get to turn the wheel to bring the
drill down, and we all wear face masks.
