watercolor canvas

Have any of you used the newish Fredrix watercolor canvas as a painting surface? Dick Blick is having an introductory 50% web sale on it (and several other things including Arches). They say it is primed with a watercolor-receptive gesso. I'm going to try some but wanted to see if anybody had an opinion on it.
