Verrrrrrry interesting! I like it a lot. We take kids to the symphony
in my school. It would just be a matter of tying the books and art into
it. They could even be read to them in library, and the painting could
happen in art. IT would sure happen more quickly if the parts of the
project (music/literature/art) were divided between 3 teachers working
together.
I also saved some beautiful "musical portraits" that were either
presented here from a website or maybe I found them on artsonia. They
show people dancing, playing various instruments, etc. They were done
in oil pastel. IT would be really cool to have one grade do the
portraits and another do the painting of instruments as more than one
grade attends the symphony. hmmmmmm....sketching at the symphony???
