Re: Burnout
( always looking for ways to keep on truckin' )
Hello all,
Here's a web site for a place/program you might enjoy.
www.snowfarm.org
It's high-caliber traditional and fine crafts, extremely
well-located, and year-round.
It offers weekend and/or weekly workshops including
neat things like multi-generational workshops you
and your teen, can attend.
Accomodations and meals are also on site, as well as
wonderful hotels and inns in the area; beautiful country.
It's located close to Williamsburg, Massachusetts
near the Albany, NY border, and also close to
the Norman Rockwell Museum, the Daniel Chester French
( Liincoln Memorial sculptor) Museum, Sterling Clark Museum
( great Pre-Raphaelites) and of course "NoHo"- the huge
new Museum of ContemporaryArt in North Adams.
To the south a few miles, Tanglewood, (Stockbridge) and many other
delights.
You won't be disappointed.
I've inquired about the possibility of creating an art teachers
hands-on conference--we'll see!
