looking for an artist's name

he uses willow or sticks or something and creates sculptures - in my mind I
can see one on the side of a building (SCAD?) - like a bird's nest caught in
a whirlpool - tornado-like structures - can't think of his name... if this
rings a bell for anyone - will you let me know -
