Colleen,
    Nature journaling sound like a great focus, and would include
Leonardo de Vince, and John James Audubon. These types of artist you
maybe able to rent or borrow slides from the National Art Gallery in
Washington D.C. because they have examples of their drawings. Maybe
other museums have similiar programs, for different artist in their
collection.
