Leah,
What a great post. I, too, am looking for a very simple project for a
certain class of mine that enjoys vandalizing my classroom (Breaking my
colored pencils in half, throwing crayons, et al. Their classroom teacher
ignores me BIGTIME. She couldn't care less, burned out, doesn't think art is
important anyway, etc. The so-called parents have better things to do than
come to school and talk to me concerning their kids' behavior. However, there
are good kids in this class. I am at a loss. Today I gave them cartoons to
TRACE just to keep them out of mischief!! UGH!!!! (I felt like a traitor to
my profession) !!!
Sure enough, toward the end of the class they started up with their vandalism
again. After all, that is their REAL talent. It seems like nothing works
with these little -------- (I won't say it)!!!
 HELPPPPPPPP!! Jill
