I can't answer your question but I would like to offer a suggestion. I work for our local elementary school (not as a teacher) and for years I was on the PTO board. We realized that the teachers were spending quite a bit of their own money for supplies, etc. for the classroom. From our PTO funds we allocate $100.00 for each teacher each year to use as the see fit, they just have to submit their receipts. We know it doesn't cover everything but it helps a little bit and is very much appreciated by the staff. I thought I would pass on the idea for those of you who have PTO organizations in your schools.
