Re: Mary Azarian & "Coincidence"--PS!

Another cool epidsode of "coincidence"--I had originally been scheduled to go on a field trip to DC on Thursday as a chaperone for the upper school. Due to a conflict I had with the extended hours of the trip, I was able to switch with a middle school science teacher who *wanted* to go, especially since the trip involved a visit to the Air and Space museum and the IMAX theatre.
I agreed to sub for her classes (since I didn't have any classes that day except for my one group of middle schoolers), and she was delighted to be able to go on the field trip.
And of course after I learned that Mary Azarian was the guest speaker (I knew there was a special program in the afternoon, but didn't know who or what--the librarian had arranged it) I was delighted that I'd been able to stay at school that day!
