NO!
The only time my art classes are made up are if I am the one who missed the
class or changed the schedule. It was not always this way. I had to stand
up for myself, along with the PE and music teachers as well as Library, to
get it in writing in the staff handbook.
Classroom teachers will do anything and everything in their power to not miss
a break/planning period. Hang in there and get support from other specialty
teachers.
