Hi! I've been teaching K-6 art for several years and have recently applied
for a H.S. art teacher position.
I've been asked to present a 40 minute lesson (not enough time!) as part of
the interview process.
What might be a quick, but interesting lesson for H.S. kids? I've been
spoiled by working in a block schedule and can hardly think of 40 minutes as
a time to bring out the juicy paints I want to work with. What would you do?
Other information: they've worked with clay a lot already, had some art
history lessons and the demographics are 98% african-american; 1% latino and
1% european-american from middle class suburbs.
