Well...it doesn't look like it will be getting much better. A few weeks ago
at one of our staff meetings, our principal gave us the new education
guidelines! Look for testing to become predominant....we don't care if they
learn anything....we only want to test them! And if test prep becomes the
new curriculum....look for art to ether get a test...or get booted...even
though Bush said the arts are a core subject.....get real...if your state
funding and certification depend on testing....then you are going to focuse
on the subjects being tested.....if your school is in trouble....you are not
going to have art when your students are not passing the science test....100%
