Not dumb at all!!! I spent over $3,000 of my own money last year...yup that
is right.....and this year I said no more. I am not tenure...(have a year to
go) but my feeling is similar to San D's, the administration doesn't even
notice! Yeah sure they notice the super cool lessons...but they also notice
them if they are done well with watercolor too! I also stepped into a
lose/lose situation....but turned it around.....I agree...sometimes you need
to put in the money and effort to keep your job (this is definately the
situation I was in!). But....that not being the situation for me now, I
refuse to go into debt for a school district that could pay me a 10 times
over and not even notice!!!
