My school understands that I cannot attend grade level meetings due to
time constraints. The assistant principal takes notes for each grade
level for specialists and forwards them to us by computer. We can email
responses or additional comments regarding particular students, issues,
etc. back to all concerned. It works great. I know each grade's meeting
schedule, and I send in comments before hand if I have pressing issues. I
am most greatful to the administration in my school for realizing how busy
an art specialist is. I also am not considered the school "decorater." I
am asked to do a few things each year, but they realize that my curriculum
is important and I don't get asked to do child generated decoration for
events, holidays, etc. Yahoo.
