Good suggestion - how does one keep maggots out of apple head dolls before
they
are dried??? This living sculpture was not at all pleasant my first year of
teaching and I haven;t tried the apple heads since.

Also heard a suggestion for sculpture compound made from sawdust
and wallpaper paste that comes in a big bucket - cheap to use and was told it
dries rock hard. Could be good for puppet heads. Roberta
