kinko's vent!!! LONG!

Kinko's (rot their corporate souls...ooppss...sorry that slipped!)....can
print anything, any size you want...for a very hefty price. They have a
ploter printer...they also have a banner printer. The plotter is about
what....$10 per square foot to print (it cost less to have marble tile in
your kitchen!) I am sure someone here will correct that...but it is
approximately that. Recently our kinko's was having a sale...printing a
large, (I want to say poster sizee) 22 x 30.....for $68!!!! and a larger
size for over $100.

Now....my problem with kinko's is that their printers are always poorly
calibrated and the colors look crummy...onetime I paid a whopping $58 for
computer time and printing to get a little 8 1/2 x 11 of some work I was
doing for a college course.....the print quality was so awful...my instructor
printed it out on her printer at home...so I could go to kinko's and show
them the problem.....as if they cared. My other problem with Kinko's is that
their staff rarely every know how to manage anything in their computer
services.....even the passwords to the computers! And....last but not
least......you can expect to spend 5 years of your life waiting if you need
them to do anything that is not self-serve!

Sorry...thanks for letting me vent on Kinko's...had a terrible experience
this past weekend....try to avoid them as much as possible....as almost all
Kinko's experiences are an excercise in the surreal....as in how could it
really be so difficult to make the one little copy you want? How could I
have been in here for 45 minutes for one piece of paper that cost me
$20.....hehehehe......

you get the idea.....
