Bleach.....smelly clay????

wow - that's a new one! Does it effect the clay at all? (aside from making
it not smell)

Last year we worked with some old smelly clay - a couple of students had
asthma attacks and I got some crud on my face where I lost my left eyebrow
(yes, thank heavens....and thanks to dermatologists - it grew back). Oh,
the adventures of teaching art.

I'll definitely try the bleach if you think that helps.
