RE: matting/framing work for art show.....I actually have ONE, yes ONE parent
who does all the framing (including cutting the frames) for our 2-D work for
our annual art show. It is approximately 200 pieces as we only have grades
2-5 showing flat work while all the students have a 3-D piece in the show.
Our annual show, which is this coming Thursday, has approximately 600 student
works. it is crazy...but worth every minute of time spent!

She uses clear packing tape and tapes the work on the back to the frame. If
the parent ever wants to take the work out of the frame, then all that has to
be done is slit the tape between the frame and the work. No damage to the
work and the edges are actually reinforced!
