Paulette,
Here in Chicago, they have alternative schools. Just the other day I was
threatened by a student and administration promised that they would look into
alternative schools connected with the Cook County Jail (Juvenile
Division)--altho this student was in the 8th grade. I called police because
of this incident. Is she special ed.? Perhaps the sped teacher need to fill
out a IET form for her. She's so young to go out of control like that. I
don't think people realize what a hard job we art teachers have.
