I have both at school- but I will not be re-ordering the tubes because of
cost.(Koi) -Nor do I feel their work is any better with the tube paints -but
I do find they WASTE more paint in TUBES. If they can master the pan paints-
mixing colors, layering washes etc., they can then buy the tubes on their own
and do wonderful things! I do not feel I am there to supply them with top
quality supplies at a High School level. Pan paints are easier for the
students to use and care for and easier for the teacher manage -at least for
me. Cheaper too!
