For those of you that didn't join our small troupe that saw Annie Get
Your Gun on Broadway last week, here's a bit on Reba McIntyre's
performance. I had enjoyed the show tremendously but wondered to a
friend how she compared to Bernadette Peters. She sent me this last
night.

> A. Reba is an even better shot than Bernadette, who always struck us as
> too much of a big-city girl to play Annie Oakley, a backwoods wildcat.
> The Oklahoma-born Ms. McEntire doesn't have that problem. She's
> completely at ease with Irving Berlin's cornpone music and lyrics. After

> manager-husband, Narvel Blackstock, should think of moving to Manhattan.
