Isn't amazing that kids can miss so much? I'll bet if you asked their
elementary art teacher if she had taught the primary colors, she would be
ready to cite several lessons that thouroughly covered them! That song will
definitely help them to remember, even if it does drive their parents nuts as
they continue to sing it...forever!

 I used to give quizzes and tests to my middle schoolers based on techniques,
cultures, etc... that we studied, as well as test on the elements and
principles of design. Now I use all behavioral objective and specific
standards of learning that assess the student understanding of DBAE, so I
